The end of Ampersand <3

I finished my HUGE fic Ampersand today.

It's been over a year of posting, and two years of thinking about the plot, the characters, and what I wanted it to say. Right now it has over 3400 comments and almost 1500 kudos. Which is INSANE - at least to me! I know that there are writers out there who expect something like that for every fic they write but I am very much not one of them, and I've been blown away by the reactions to this fic.

It has been wonderful to write, too, and I'm going to miss this story and the characters in it so deeply. Goodbye Ampersand, you were a friend through tough times, and I have learned so much from you! <3

Hah, kind of! Thank you, it's been a huge investment in terms of time and effort, but I have loved every bit of it! :D

Thank you! It's been a major undertaking. It's sad it's over, but I'm also really happy that I managed to get it all out there :)

Thank you! Someone in the comments just referred to it as 'the book you wrote' and I went 'omg I wrote a book???' *laughs* Fanfic isn't the same, but it still matters. Or I hope so, anyway!
